Structural design consultancy and technical co-ordination with MOST to prepare new Standard Designs and Drawings conforming to the latest Bridge Codes and MOST Guidelines for Prestressed Concrete superstructures in the span range of 3040 m for the Indian Roads Congress. The work represents the current state of the art technology in prestressed concrete bridge construction and incorporates all the design and workmanship improvements contemplated in recent years in the country.

Preparation of technical specifications of MOST relating to bridge structures of MOST for the Indian Roads Congress taking account of current practices in India and abroad; enlargement of specifications to include new items of work, materials and ammendments carried out by the Ministry for externally aided projects.

Condition survey, damage assessment, repair, strengthening, retrofitting and load rating of major bridges in Osmanabad affected by the September 1993 earthquake, for PWD, Maharashtra. The consultancy assignment was executed under a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development under the Maharashtra Emergency Earthquake Reconstruction Project.
