Structural design consultancy for the main plant building for manufacture of colour picture tubes measures 250m * 85m for Samtel Color Ltd. The roof structure consists of Precast Prestressed trusses and Precast Channel Slab Units for this modern and sophisticated factory, one of the largest precast concrete industrial building projects executed in the country. Precasting was resorted to in order to cut down the period of construction to 6 months which was the total time available from ground breaking to handing over.
