  Khyber Pass Depot and Workshop |
Khyber Pass Depot and Workshop The project has a built up structural area of approximately 53000 sqm. The major portion of the project comprises a Workshop, Shed and Office Buildings apart from other miscellaneous structures, such as sub-station, watch tower, paint shops, water-tank, shed over stabilising track, OHE depot, store, shunting engine shed, cycle/scooter stand, pump house, water treatment plant, canteen, etc. The roof is made up of structural steel trusses of 21m span with profile metal roofing sheets. The Gantry Girders provided to support the EOT Cranes are also planned to be made in precast post-tensioned concrete. The total time for construction of such a large factory building is only about 2 years and will be handed over in two phases. In association with M/s Systra of France and M/s Jasbir Sawhney and Associates, New Delhi, for Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.

Viaduct & Station for DMRC Connaught Place to Dwarka - DD3B, Delhi |
Viaduct & Station for DMRC Barakhamba Road-Connaught Place-Dwarka (DD3B), Delhi Detailed Design Consultancy for Elevated Viaduct covers the 22 km distance from Conaught Place to Dwarka through most crowded areas of the city. It includes the section from ch km 0.62 to ch km 22.36, 20 stations and bridge across Najafgarh Drain. Precast segmental U-girders have been adopted. Off-road buildings for the 20 stations en route have a striking appearance. Earthquake resistant features, aesthetics and durability of the viaduct and stations were given special considerations. |

Barakhamba Road-Connaught Place Underground Section - DD3A, Delhi |
Barakhamba Road-Connaught Place Underground Section - DD3A, Delhi The project consisted of a double track underground station (250 m long, 30 m wide) with rectangular tunnel on either side. Total length of project is 645 m constructed by cut-and-cover method with "top down" approach with maximum depth of excavation as 18 m. The project is situated on the 8-lane Barakhamba Road, which is an arterial road of Connaught Place with prestigious and high-rise commercial establishments on either side. The execution of work was carefully planned to ensure that at least four lanes were available to existing traffic at all times. |
