Structural design for foundations/ support system for rides / attractions, booths, watch / observation towers, signage, lighting boards, bridges / culverts, amphitheatre and other buildings, water bodies / water channels, underground tanks, diesel tanks, boundary walls / fencing walls inside park, etc

Detailed Design Consultancy for Mumbai Rail Vikas Corporation (MRVC) for setting up maintenance and repair facilities for dual voltage IGBT based new technology and RDSO designed EMUs. Design involves minor bridges, earthwork, boundary wall, and structural works of sheds, maintenance pits, platform, sections for testing and maintenance of spare equipments. The work also involves design of wash plant, pit jacks, pit wheel lathe bays and stabling sheds. Approximate area of structural work is nearly 35000 sqm. In association with M/s Systra of France.

The project comprises of a reaction wall system to be developed as a part of Pseudo Dynamics lab. The L-shaped wall is made with 2m thick prestressed concrete against which the actuators will be used to simulate the effect of dynamic motion. The reaction wall is designed to cater to 3 storeyed building bridge pier models. The reaction wall is covered with a building consisting of steel truss & roofing system.

The project has a built up structural area of approximately 4,34,690 sqm. The major portion of the project comprises of IT office Buildings apart from podiums and Hotel buildings.The structural system for the buildings have been evolved on the basis of various aspects like functional requirements of the building, durability and life span of building, cost effectiveness and other design criteria requirements specified by the client.
